Keep up to date with all that is happening within our community

We are pleased to announce that Barry Barnard Photography, the official photographers for the Forces Equine Games 2026 (#FEG2026), will be sponsoring the Volunteer of the Year Award at this year's event.
This award holds a special place within our community, having been established in memory of Victoria Brown. Vicky, along with her daughter Holly, was a valued member of Forces Equine and this trophy honours the commitment, kindness and community spirit she represented.
Steph from Barry Barnard Photography explained why supporting this class is so meaningful to them:
"We are proud to be the official photographers for the Forces Equine Games 2026. Barry has worked as a paramedic for more than 20 years and many members of our family have served, or are currently serving, within the military community.
Sponsoring the Volunteer of the Year class is particularly important to us for personal reasons. We met Vicky when we bought one of our horses, Ronnie, from her daughter Holly. Vicky was a truly remarkable lady and an accomplished rider who inspired many people around her. Supporting this award is our way of helping to keep her memory and legacy alive." said Steph Barnard.
Barry Barnard Photography will also be joining us throughout the weekend at Pickering Grange Equestrian, their home venue, where they look forward to meeting competitors, supporters and spectators alike.
We are incredibly grateful that Team Barry Barnard Photography approached us to sponsor this award. Given their connection to both the military and equestrian communities — and their personal link to Vicky — it feels like a very fitting partnership.
The Forces Equine Games is all about bringing people together who share a passion for horses, sport and community. As we look ahead to #FEG2026, we look forward to welcoming riders, supporters and volunteers for a weekend of great competition, friendship and celebration.
Here's to a wonderful event where we can raise a glass to everyone who joins us — and remember those who cannot be with us.
